Finally got round to set up a good workflow for my photographic etchings.
For some reason the ferric chloride at the shop comes at around 40° Baumé, so it took some blow drying to get the higher degrees.The resist I’m using is a pretty straightforward mixture of gelatine, destilled water and potassium dichromate, poured over a copper plate with an aquatint ground and then twirled smooth and try.

While idly browsing some dichromate related stuff, I found this cool website about making holograms. The dichromate solution used is pretty much the same, as is the application mentioned in the article. Now all I need is some laser gear, and then it’s hologram time!
