  • For the upcoming Helsinki Restaurant Day on August 19th friends of mine are collaborating with a local confectionery maker to bring what they dub

“the holy threesome of decadence: tea, chocolate and art”

to the people, under the name “Matchoko”. The venue will be Kiviparintie 2E6 in Myllypuro, very close to Myllypuro station, open from 12:00 to 19:00h.

Here’s a sneak peek into the printing of the flyers. Bet you wish as much as I that there were a sneak taste of the confections and pralines made especially for that day. Matcha (powdered green tea) and chocolate will play key roles for the sweets, hence the name, and yours truly will contribute graveyard etchings printed with matcha ink on gampi for the art part.
See you there if in Helsinki, and spread the word! ;)
