Black Heart Press presents:
A time capsule, portraits of Finnish printmakers, painstakingly scanned by yours truly out of the catalogue “50 Finnish Printmakers” from 1981. I scanned about 40 portraits and will upload them over the next weeks in small batches - images were chosen because they show the artist and his or her studio / workplace, artists represented only with a portrait photo were in most cases not scanned, exceptions were made for great glasses, poses or beards. 
Bilingual captions included, mostly overly praiseful stuff, but every once in a while a gem like:

“Frans Toikkanen is the cat man.”
